Goals:

REPRESENTATION:

Bolster inspiration, connection and motivation within the community and better represent Black, Indigenous and People of Color within Austin.

UNDERCOMPENSATION:

Create more opportunity within the community by uplifting and connecting with leaders, creatives and entrepreneurs in Austin that are Black, Indigenous and People of Color. Many of us are working for tips amongst the pandemic.

We are applying for funding to make the convention a paid opportunity. We plan on paying each performer and speaker.

If we cannot, we are already planning to share each person’s payment info for tips.

INSPIRATION!:

INSPIRE those of all ages, identities, orientations and interests to create, connect and keep growing to build a future that thrives! This convention will set a new precedent for the strength of communication and connectivity within Austin! Furthermore, it will improve and boost morale in those who are creating but under represented in Austin.
